Kite surfing: Kitebeach - Cape Town Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 20 knots Surf / Sea State: 4 ft swell Air Temperature: 27C Sea Temperature: cool Weather: Sunshine Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Picked the demo board up about half 2 ish and then straight off to the
beach just in time for the wind to kick in.
First time out on the demo board and also for my kite in the ocean. Took it
easy to begin with as I hadn't kitesurfed since mid October.
Charlane took loadsa pics which was cool so got some lovely pics of Table
mountain in the background. She counted 70 kiters out on a Wednesday
afternoon at 4PM and floods more were arriving. Still loadsa loadsa room
for everyone though spanning down to Sunset beach and up past Doodles.
Not a bad session and was loving the new demo board. So much so when
returning it, I ended up buying a new one and its a locally made board -
cool! Real pleased with the Trix as well and does exatcly what you want it
to do. Just release the bar when the big gusts come through and its sweet.
Got a few little jumps in today but im pretty rusty as my first time out
for a few months.
Perfect wind as well today. The wind is much heavier here for some reason
compared to the UK.
